For the record this recipe is TOTALLY not Gabby friendly but was a big hit and I thought I’d share. It’s easy and delicious, my favorite combination! I found this recipe…

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
  • ¼ pound Genoa salami, thinly sliced
  • ¼ pound pepperoni sausage, sliced
  • ¼ pound provolone cheese, sliced
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
  2. Roll pizza crust dough into an approximately 10x14 inch rectangle on the baking sheet. Layer with Genoa salami, pepperoni and provolone cheese. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese to within ½ inch from edges of the dough. Roll jelly roll style. Seal the edge with a fork.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Slice into 1 inch pieces to serve.

But then I amended it.  I got the refrigerated pizza crust dough, spread that out and spread pizza sauce all over the dough.  I added a layer of turkey pepperoni and then pieces of provolone cheese.  I added another layer of turkey pepperoni and sprinkled mozzarella cheese on top of that.

Then I rolled it up, sprinkled a little more cheese on top and baked it at  350 for 25 minutes.

Once it was completed, I cut it up and served.  It was awesome!  I’m going to try a veggie one next.
