Nervy

As if it weren’t bad enough that Adam recently took a job an hour and twenty minutes away (his previous commute was 2 minutes!!), now he has the NERVE to go on a 3 day business trip!!!! Did he forget that the TWO of us are already over powered by THREE mini-monsters?!?! So now he wanted to make the ratio of rational thinking mature people to mini-maniacs worse?!?!

The best part of our vacation was that after those little people were asleep, we’d make our way to the deck of our chalet (yes, that’s what it was called…I’m not just being fancy) and TALK. It’s an unbelievable concept, conversation without interruption or screaming children. Certainly we could do this at home too, but someone has been waking up at 4:45 am (crazy, right?) and thar has sorta put a damper on such activities.

Although Adam comes home at a relatively reasonable hour normally, I count the minutes (heck, I count the seconds) until he enters the house. I’m anxious partly because I need to throw a child at him, partly because I need a new referee but mostly because I actually like the guy. So the fact that he won’t be gracing me with his presence until after the kids go to bed Friday night, does NOT make me a happy camper. And you know what it means when Mama is not happy…
