Things I learned on our trip to Disney…

December 22, 2011

1. A single trip can be the most fun, the most stressful and the most exhausting all in one.

2. A kid in costume always looks cute, unless they are assaulting you.

3. Family pictures are near impossible, even in Disney World.

4. I don’t need many excuses to dress Gabby as a Princess, and Disney seems like as good as any reason to embrace your inner Princess!

5. Hiking across Disney for Jessie’s signature is TOTALLY worth it, especially if it avoids an inevitable meltdown.

6. A silly hat looks WAY cuter on a kid than on an adult.

7. The beauty of a lit up castle may be enough to get over your kids staying up until 11pm at night.

8. Hugging strangers is totally ok when you are at Disney.

9. Waiting in line for an hour for a short ride gets old really fast. Yet the Toy Story ride was completely worth it!

10. Drew is SO not ready for his license.

11. There’s a new sheriff in town.

12. Minnie Mouse should feel threatened…real threatened.

13. Grandparents are the best 🙂

14. There’s an inner kid in all of us, and it’s impossible to not LOVE Disney!

  1. Love it! I think in the last picture you and Addie look super young! (In a good way!) So the secret to youthfulness is Disney World?
Everyone looks great (Jackie and Steve too!) The kids are adorable as always and I am glad you had a great time!

  2. WOW! Looks like a blast. I want to go! Liam may be a little too young to appreciate it now, but I know who to go to when I need planning tips!

Glad you had a blast and can’t wait to hear all about it!!!
