Dear Adam

I am not an easy person. Not only do you put up with me, but you seem to still like me while doing so.  For that, you deserve a medal 🙂
And it’s not like you’re a saint, you have your fair share of “stuff” like I guess we all do. The privilege we have had, since we’ve essentially grown up together, is that I’ve seen it all grow to be a part of you – the good, bad and the ugly. There’s no one else’s “stuff” I’d rather put up with!
On this very day, your birthday, I am so thankful to have you exactly as you are. I’m so thankful that you are the kind of person who works so hard for your family to have a nice life. I’m thankful that you love your kids with your whole big heart and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty with them. And I’m thankful you chose me to make a life with. 
Today I celebrate you. I celebrate the boy you were when we met and I celebrate the man you’ve grown to be.  Happy birthday!
