Once again, I trekked out West and returned to Colorado.
I literally cannot stay away.
We avoided the fires and began with a short stay in Denver, which is a really cool city, if you ever get the chance.
Highlight number one of the trip included the Avett Brothers concert at Red Rocks. If you have the chance, you should make it to Red Rocks. Coming from the flat land of Illinois, a concert venue set in a canyon is just incredible. Also, you must check out the Avett Brothers. I feel like I am falling in love over and over again with each song.
Highlights numbers two and three was Vail…and the outdoor activities that go along with it.
We took a hike up Hanging Lake one day and biked down a mountain the next. I wish that all my workouts were in such lovely places….
