Break matzah into pieces and let water go through in a strainer. All pieces should be soft but dry. Beat eggs and salt thoroughly, add sugar, cinnamon and margarine. Add softened matzahs and stir in apples. Put in a 9x13 dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
